This package supplies the core engineered components required to run a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission (8HP) behind a Rover V8, while retaining the LT230 transfer case.
It is intended for classic Land Rovers and Range Rover Classics where modern drivability, reliability, and control are the goal — without compromising the character of the vehicle.

- ZF 8HP to LT230 adapter housing with spud shaft

These components form the mechanical interface between the Rover V8, ZF 8-speed transmission, and LT230 transfer case.

Manufacture & supply
Adapter components are produced to specification by an established specialist manufacturer in the UK and are made to order. Regal Rover Classics supplies the 8HP to LT230 adapter and chassis crossmember.
UK-manufactured components ship from the UK. Regal Rover Classics components ship from Queensland, Australia.
Installation
Installation documentation is supplied for the adapter chassis mount and crossmember. Installation should be completed by a qualified workshop experienced in drivetrain modifications.
