About us - the history of RRC
My passion for Land Rovers began in 2018 when I spotted a Range Rover Classic Soft Dash LSE in a Melbourne car park. That one car stuck with me and kicked off an interest that only grew stronger. In late 2023 I bought my own 1993 Range Rover Classic Vogue SE, and in 2024 I really threw myself into its rebuild. That project — now known as Q.93RRC — became the foundation for everything that followed.
I run Regal Rover Classics with my wife, Ryhia (also known as Nardurna), and our daughter, Johnnie. We are a family who loves Land Rovers, and everything we build comes from that. When you buy something here, it is not from a faceless brand. It is from us — a family who spends time in the shed, on the driveway, and out on the road with these vehicles every day.
The truth is, Regal Rover Classics didn’t begin as a business at all. I was simply building my own car and sharing the process on Instagram. Along the way I connected with an incredible community of people around the world who also love Range Rover Classics and other Land Rovers. People began asking what I was doing, how I was doing it, and if I could make the same parts and kits available for them. That’s how Regal Rover Classics really began — not from a plan, but from a passion that turned into something bigger through community. Even now, everything I put together is shaped by conversations and requests from other enthusiasts around the world.
In 2021, during COVID, Ryhia and I restored her dad’s Defender 110. Comfort was the biggest issue, especially in the Queensland and Northern Territory heat, so we gave it a full Car Builders treatment that completely changed how liveable it was. On top of that, we upgraded the sound system and infotainment so it could be enjoyed every day. That Defender project shaped how we approach builds now — keeping the character, but making them practical and reliable for real driving conditions.

Our Range Rover Classic, Q.93RRC, continues to be the test vehicle for everything we develop for Range Rover Classics. Every refinement and part we now offer has its roots in this car. It represents what Regal Rover Classics stands for — OEM+ quality, real usability, and respect for the originals. More importantly, it proves that a Classic can be something you simply hop in, start up, and enjoy without stress.
Regal Rover Classics is for people who want to enjoy their Classics without worry. For owners who want their vehicles to start, idle and drive properly, and who also want the benefits of modern reliability and comfort. This is a family business shaped by experience, built on community, tested on real vehicles, and proudly Australian made.
