Vehicle and existing drivetrain
Model, year, Rover V8 configuration, current transmission, transfer case and any previous modifications.
Eight-speed development
Land Rover ZF 8HP70 integration developed around the Rover V8 and our own Range Rover Classic. A modern drivetrain, with the original driving position and controls in mind.
Development installation shown. Final calibration and road validation are ongoing; availability and fitment are confirmed per project.
Drivetrain integration
Adapter and flywheel development with DomiWorks, LT230 integration, purpose-designed mounting and custom driveline work.
Installation is planned as a system. Gearbox, transfer case, cooling, controls and vehicle-specific clearances all form part of the assessment.
Original controls
The original mechanical shifter operates through the retained cable arrangement and a position-sensor interface to the transmission controller.
Shift paddles provide an additional control option without replacing the familiar centre-console layout.
What we need to know
Tell us about the vehicle before selecting a configuration.
Model, year, Rover V8 configuration, current transmission, transfer case and any previous modifications.
Existing ECU, throttle arrangement, instrumentation and the preferred shifter and paddle setup.
Mounting, transfer-case adaptation, driveshafts, cooling, exhaust clearance and supporting fabrication.
Control configuration, start-inhibit operation, shift calibration and road testing are part of achieving a complete working installation.
Eight-speed project enquiries
Tell us what you own, how you want to use it and what you would like to change. We can then discuss a suitable direction and the scope that needs assessing.
Build investment and timing depend on the vehicle, specification and work involved. These are established before a project is agreed.
We handle enquiries by email so photographs, specifications and decisions stay together.
