  • Why Stage 2? Sequential injection, crank+cam sync, future-ready (CAN, DBW, digital dash), stronger transitions under load.

Stage 3 — Complete Plug & Play System

This is not just “more parts”. It’s a finished system. Built around the Haltech Nexus R3 with an OEM-style labelled loom, pre-installed sensors, validated trigger setup, and a street/dyno-tested base map. It’s engineered to save major install time and remove wiring risk.

Why Stage 3 costs more — and what you get for it

  • Nexus R3 hardware jump: Integrated wideband, robust CAN hub, DBW-ready, advanced I/O — no add-on boxes.
  • Premium loom: Vehicle-style, labelled, plug-and-play routing with factory-look finish.
  • Pre-installed sensors & triggers: Twin-wheel crank/cam sync, MAP/IAT/CLT/oil/TPS all terminated and tested.
  • Bench-tested assembly: ECU + loom + key sensors validated together before it leaves our shop.
  • Proven calibration: Street tuned and 4WD dyno-validated base map.
  • Time saved: Typically 30–50 hours vs building a loom from scratch.
  • Risk removed: Less chance of wiring mistakes that kill ECUs or waste weekends.
  • Factory-style engine loom — routed & labelled for classic Range Rover bays
  • Haltech Nexus R3 ECU — CAN-ready, built-in wideband, DBW-ready, 8-speed compatible
  • Bosch modern injectors + plugs
  • LS coil packs + brackets
  • Crank & cam trigger kit — CNC bracket, twin sensors
  • Wideband O2 with plug-in loom
  • All key sensors pre-installed: MAP, IAT, CLT, oil pressure/temp, TPS, crank/cam sync
  • 3D-printed routing aids for a clean install
  • Pre-mapped: Street tuned & 4WD dyno tested

Additional Notes

  • O2 sensor: Requires a bung in your exhaust. Clamp-on or weld-in kits are readily available.
  • Carburetted V8s: Works with non-EFI Rover V8s; you’ll need an EFI intake (e.g. from a 3.9L).
  • Tuning: A final tune is recommended for best results on your particular engine and mods.
