Your digital dash, explained.

An overview of the connections, harness layout and setup resources for our Haltech UC-10 digital dash kits.

General reference · Check the pinout supplied with your kit.

The tables below show an example RRC harness layout. Connector assignments, wire colours and enabled inputs can vary between kits. Use your supplied harness labels and kit-specific pinout for installation. Identify the factory wires using the workshop manual for your vehicle’s model year and build date.

What is involved in fitting the dash?

The dash end of the harness is already terminated. The vehicle side connects to your factory wiring: power, ground and inputs such as the left and right indicators, high beam, park brake, park lights and fuel level. Use the factory workshop manual to identify each circuit, then connect it to the matching function on the supplied harness.

Engine data connections and configuration depend on your engine and ECU. The example below uses CAN for engine data; other installations may require a different arrangement. Reverse-camera and ambient-temperature connections are also shown below.

Which wire connects where?

Read each row from left to right: the pin at the screen, the corresponding connection at the other end of our harness, then the factory circuit to identify in your workshop manual. B5 means cavity 5 of our Plug B. It is not a factory connector number.

Example: left indicator
UC-10 pin 22 → our harness Plug B, pin 5 (B5), White/Purple wire → factory left-indicator signal.

UC-10 screen pin Other end of RRC harness RRC wire colour Factory circuit to identify
3 Power lead Red Switched 12V supply
4 Ground lead Black Battery ground
16 B1 Brown/Black Alternator-excite circuit
17 B2 Yellow/Purple Park / side-light signal
18 B3 Black/Pink Fuel-level sender signal
20 B4 Grey/Blue Low-range status signal
22 B5 White/Purple Left-indicator signal
23 B6 Purple/Yellow Right-indicator signal
24 B7 Pink/Brown Park brake / handbrake signal
25 B8 Grey/Yellow High-beam signal

Wire colours above describe our example harness, not the factory vehicle wiring. Locate the factory connector, cavity and wire colour in the correct workshop manual. Confirm signal type and dash configuration before connecting; the same circuit can work differently across vehicle models. Alternator and low-range connections must suit the vehicle’s system.

Buttons and the ambient sensor

13 A2 · Black Screen-change button ground
14 A3 · Black Trip button ground
15 A4 · Grey/Yellow Trip button signal
30 AMB1 · Black/White Ambient sensor ground
21 AMB2 · Orange Ambient sensor signal

These are button and sensor connections, rather than factory vehicle warning-light inputs. In the example harness, UC-10 pins 1 and 2 carry CAN High and CAN Low for compatible engine-data integration. Use the engine/ECU connection instructions supplied for your kit. Camera wiring is listed in the full screen-pin table below.
